Momodou Cham (Dodou Cham) is a young Gambian medical doctor currently working in Ghana.
He is the founder of medGambia, a site he started working on in his final year of medical school.
He was born in Banjul and attended the Methodist Nursery and Primary schools. He proceeded to Gambia High School and finally to Marina High School.
After graduating from high school, he worked at the Medical Research Council (MRC) labs in Fajara, the Gambia, before proceeding to the University of Ghana.
He holds a BSc. in Medical Sciences and an MB ChB from the University of Ghana.
He developed an interest in Public Health while in medical school, and was the Founding Editor of OUTREACH!, a public health newsletter being produced by some medical students and junior doctors in Ghana.
Dr. Cham is a strong believer in the role of health education in disease prevention. He is a volunteer and health educator for the Longevity Project, a health-related NGO in Ghana.
He is currently working at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana.
